Our family has lost our pet cat Kitty. She has been missing from Reid Street since Monday, February 11, 2009.
Kitty is a short-haired, tan-coloured tabby cat. Although her main colour is tan, she does have flecks of grey/white and orange (shoulder area). A distinguishing feature is white coloured fur on her throat area.
Please check your garages and sheds. As Kitty is mainly an indoor cat it is possible she may have climbed inside in order to avoid the weather.

Suki went missing on Beachy Cove Road near West Point Road Tuesday April 14th, 2009.
Suki is a spayed, microchipped, female all-gray 4 yr old cat. She looks like a Russian Blue and is affectionate, although shy with strangers. (NOTE: the microchip info has not been updated and shows her address in France where she was born).
She is an indoor cat who has recently been allowed out to explore. She has always come home. It has been almost a week, and we are getting frantic. It is so cold outside!

2 and half year old medium sized Sheltie cross.
missing about a year ago from Seal Cove area
About the size of a Shetland Sheep dog but her fur and snout are like a black lab.
All black with a white patch on her chest in the shape of a cross. Her paws have white tips.
Chloe’s family had left her on a lead outside for a couple of hours while they went shopping on the day that she went missing. There is some evidence to suggest that she may have been taken. (Please note, the family is not looking to place blame - just to find their beloved pet.)
Chloe was pregnant and due to give birth at the time of her disappearance.

Bridie went missing on Sunday, May 4th, 2008. The street from where he went missing is Dalton Ave, Mount Pearl.
The cat is a large neutered male tabby who goes by the name of Bridie(pronounced Bridey). He is very friendly and does not mind being picked up or petted. Unfortunately he was not wearing a collar when he left, as he has a tendency to get it caught in lower branches of bushes and such when he goes out to chase birds.

Lost on Oct. 5, in the Virginia Place, Logy Bay area a 3 yr. old, neutered male cat answering to the name of Oreo. Oreo is a black and white. Oreo has a med. length black and white coat with a distinctive black spot on his nose.
Oreo is very friendly and his family misses him very much. Oreo enjoys walking the Virginia Park trail. He was recently spotted near St. Mark's Anglican Church on Logy Bay Road.

"Yesterday evening, July 22nd at approximately 1:30 pm, I found what I think to be a male cross breed of a poodle and a schnauzer (but I'm not 100% sure).
He was found running across the street on Carlisle drive Elizabeth Park.
He was wearing a black padded harness and a camouflage bandana around his neck."

FOUND on Sept 27/09:
Small, short-haired, orange striped male cat found wandering around the Empire Avenue/Bonaventure Avenue area in the East End of St. John's.
He is wearing a black collar, no name tag.
Looks to be between 6 months and 1 year old, and appears to be neutered.
Very friendly, eating well, is litter trained and looks to be well cared for.
This little guy is probably not a stray and we want to reunite him with his owners as soon as possible. We are sheltering him for the time being, but cannot keep him because we have another cat. If you know of anyone missing a cat matching this description please call or email

UPDATE AUG 4/09: Rescuer still has this cat. Had him checked and he is a neutered male. No microchip. The vet clinic told me that 35% of the cats being spayed/neutered at that clinic are being microchipped, but not this boy. If only everyone opted for microchips, it would be so easy to get cats back to their owners. If his owner does not come forward in the next couple of weeks, I am going to place him with new owners.

Is this white and grey tabby cat yours?
He was found in the Windsor Lake area (Portugal Cove side) sitting on Old Broad Cove Road at midnight on the night of June 29th/30th. It was near where Maggie's Place intersects with Old Broad Cove Road.
The kind person who took this cat in put some signs up on the super mail boxes along Old Broad Cove Road, and says that the cat could have come from Portugal Cove Road or Windsor Heights or even Oliver's Pond Road if she came up the trail through the woods.
The cat was wearing a nice collar with a bell on it. He's a very nice cat, very friendly and is in good shape. He looks likes he is someone's well-loved pet.
His Rescuer be reached at 834-2894. NOTE: the collar it is wearing came from Pet City.
