CHARLIE'S STORY

November 7, 2008. His name is Charlie.
The wound was made by an object forcefully thrust into his eye.
An injury this specific is not the result of an animal or a car accident.
Charlie's eye was likely beaten out of his head on purpose.
Even in his agony, the 12 week-old was gentle and loving.
After surgery, Charlie was very weak.
Everyone wanted to know how he was doing.
Donations for his surgery came pouring in.
It was good to know how much support he had.
And Charlie held on for dear life.
He's healing quickly in a safe adoptive home now.
He even has a brother.
Charlie thanks you all and asks that you not forget about the other little ones.
